Dr David Ong
Chief Executive Officer
CNA Group (China)

Dr Ong was appointed Chief Executive Officer of CNA Group (China) in July 2005 and is responsible for growing the Group’s business and investment in China as well as its financial and operational performance.

He joined the Group in 1995 and held many senior management appointments within the Group, including that of Deputy Chief Operating Officer, before his current appointment.

Prior to joining the Group, Dr Ong was a Group Leader at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd. He has more than 22 years of overseas academic and professional experience.

Dr Ong holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an Executive Master in Finance degree from the City University of New York. He has also completed the Advanced Program of Chinese Philosophy （中国国学高级研修班）from Beijing University. He is the brother of the Group President and CEO of the Group, Mr. Michael Ong.

Mr Chue was redesignated as Chief Executive Officer, ASEAN on 10 October 2011 from the position of Chief Operating Officer. In his new appointment, he oversees our operations in Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand. Mr Chue rejoined the Group as Chief Operating Officer in January 2008 after formerly having been CNA’s Business Development Division Manager in early 90s. He was also appointed as Chief
Executive Officer of the two companies in Vietnam, namely CNA-HTE Vietnam Co., Ltd and CNA-VPD Co., Ltd in November 2009.

Prior to joining the Group, Mr Chue was a Senior Consultant and Senior Vice President at CPG Consultants Pte. Ltd. where he was responsible for mechanical and engineering consultancy services for building and infrastructure projects. He has more than 27 years of working experience in the construction industry and has also held senior management positions in other consulting firms.

Mr Chue holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (First Class Honours) degree and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, both from the National University of Singapore. He is also a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore, a Licensed Electrical Engineer and an Asean Chartered Professional Engineer.

Mr Gumpalli was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Group’s Middle East joint venture, CNA Integrated Technologies LLC on Oct 2007. In this position, he is responsible for spearheading the Group’s business strategy in the Middle East. He is also responsible for expanding the Group’s business strategy in India. He has more than 30 years of experience in control and automation products and solutions across many countries.
He is also responsible for expanding the group’s business activities in India and building up the Indian operations as Center of Excellence in providing System Integration and Interfacing expertise to rest of the group units and international customers.

He is currently also a Board member of CNA Integrated Technologies LLC, Dubai, CNA Engineering Pvt Ltd, India, CNA International Oman, Oman, CNA Transstroy Engineering, Oman and American Automatrix LLC, USA. Mr Gumpalli rejoined the Group after formerly having been the Chief Operating Officer of CNA based in Singapore from where he oversaw regional operations.

Mr Gumpalli has had extensive experience across India and the US where he has played a pivotal role in product and business development in the building and facilities management field.

Mr Gumpalli holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications degree and a Master of Technology in Instrumentation and Control Systems degree from India.

Mr Lee joined the Group as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") in July 2008. In this capacity, he is responsible for spearheading the financial functions of the Group including investor relations, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining CNA, he was CFO at Intraco Limited, a public-listed diversified Group, where he also held senior executive management positions in subsidiaries engaged in various businesses over a period of 18 years. Before Intraco, he was CFO at SGXlisted Boustead Singapore Limited, for six years.

Additionally, he had served as Audit Manager in one of the then Big 8 international public accounting firms, for a period of five years.

In all, Mr Lee has more than 35 years of experience in various functions including financial management, corporate finance, public accounting, operations, and strategy across varied industries.

Mr Lee holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Singapore (now known as the National University of Singapore). He also has two Master of Business Administration degrees; one in Finance and another in Strategic Marketing from the National University of Singapore and the University of Hull respectively, and a post-graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. Mr Lee is a Fellow of the Institutes of Certified Public Accountants in Singapore and in Australia. He also holds Fellowships at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK and is a full member of the Singapore Institute of Directors .

Mr Kua Sea Yeat joined the Group on 10 October 2011 as Chief Operating Officer. He oversees CNA's Singapore operations.

Mr Kua has more than 25 years of professional experience in business development, operations and management in the building industry; specialising in building controls, electronic security, fire safety and energy efficiency solutions and services from global leading multinational corporations. He possesses extensive working experience in managing a diverse portfolio of product distribution, integrated solutions and after-sales services in Singapore, ASEAN and Asia Pacific regions.

Prior to joining CNA, Mr Kua has worked in American and European multinational Corporations, with the most recent positions as Managing Director, Senior Vice President and Regional Head at Siemens Singapore. Mr Kua holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Hull, UK, a Diploma in Engineering Technology from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Canada and a Diploma in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, as well as an Advanced Management Diploma from Babson College, USA.

Ms Shen was re-designated as Senior Vice President for Strategy Planning/ Business Development on 1 July 2011. She is primarily responsible for the facilitation of broad corporate directives, set-up of joint ventures, M&A activities and the creation of new corporate accounts to ensure optimal group strategy performance as well as the conformance with the Group's corporate standards and procedures.

Prior to her appointment, Ms Shen was in a business development role for more than 10 years, with experience in devising, developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans for the South East Asia region. She has successfully built a record of major turnkey project wins and continues to build a stronger recognition and credibility for CNA Group across the various regions. Ms Shen holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic and a Diploma in Sales and Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Singapore.

Mr Lui Wing Sin rejoined CNA as General Manager of the Group's Singapore based subsidiary GETC Asia Private Limited ("GETC") in February 2008. GETC specializes in the design and provision of energy saving and environmentally sustainable solutions. He is responsible for the overall operations of the company including sales and marketing and project delivery. He is also serving as a Senior Consultant for the Group to provide leadership to drive green environmental initiatives across the Group. Additionally, Mr Lui is also a Director on the boards of GETC and CNA Systems Sdn Bhd.

Mr Lui has more than 30 years of experience in the controls and automation industry. He has worked for multinational controls companies including Honeywell and Invensys Process Systems and was Chief Operating Officer of CNA from 2000 to 2007.

He takes an active interest in public speaking. He is a featured speaker in various industry-related conferences and seminars in Asia in areas of energy management, indoor air quality solutions and sustainable building technologies.

He has also acted in the capacity of Energy and Green Consultant for many buildings in Singapore. He has been instrumental in helping building owners garner energy and environmental awards. Recipients of such awards include McDonald's, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Seagate, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Nanyang Polytechnic, HDB Hub and Parliament House of Singapore.

Mr Lui holds a Bachelor of Engineering (with Honours) degree from Monash University in Australia.

Mr. Guzman was the General Manager for the CNA MSI Joint Venture in Bangkok, Thailand and now holds the same position for the new MSI CNA Joint venture company (the "MCJV") for the Maintenance of Systems Interfaces and Help Desk Operations at Suvarnabhumi International Airport (the "Airport").

As General Manager of the MCJV, he guided the team successfully in delivering Master System Integration Consultancy services for the Airport, being the key person to oversee the implementation and delivery of 26 fully integrated functional airport systems. Currently, he leads the MCJV team for the maintenance of the Systems Interfaces and Help Desk Operations at the Airport.

Mr. Guzman also holds the position of Managing Director for CNA Advance Limited, Bangkok. CNA Advance has the Operations & Maintenance contracts for the Baggage Reconciliation System used by all airlines and the Local Departure System for six airlines at the Airport. It also provides Departure Control System at the Phuket International Airport for Lufthansa and Finnair. Mr Guzman is CNA Group's Airport Systems specialist overseeing business development opportunities and activities of CNA Group in this field.

Mr. Guzman has more than 23 years of extensive experience in networking and Master System Integration in aviation and its related technology industry. Some of the projects that he has successfully implemented include airport the systems for Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Miami International Airport in Florida and Incheon International Airport in Korea in addition to Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

He has also served in global and regional consultancy roles in numerous telecommunication companies including Marconi Communications, Tellabs International and Harris Corporation besides a 15–year-long tenure at the NASA-Kennedy Space Centre.

He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Rollings College in USA and an Associate Degree in Electronic Instrumentation from the University of Puerto Rico.
