SIRIUS ™
The SIRIUS framework provides an open, flexible platform to integrate disparate building subsystems, facility management applications, SCADA, Enterprise applications and databases. SIRIUS is based on open standards, enabling the seamless integration of any system that provides an interface based on open standards. By integrating different and unrelated facility systems into a common platform, SIRIUS provides a unified experience for end users, eliminating the need to train and operate multiple systems.
SIRIUS pulls together all aspects of running a facility equipment, manpower, security, energy, etc. offering real-time data on a single window, resulting in a high level of situational awareness for the building manager and other operators. SIRIUS provides a common interface, from which an entire range of tasks can be performed with ease, including:
Automated fault reporting and management
Resource allocation
Security control
Asset Management
Inventory management
The open architecture of the SIRIUS framework ensures that it can be easily configured to accommodate new sub-system interfaces, enterprise systems and other facility management systems. SIRIUS is built on the Java platform, making it hardware independent. It can run on any platform that supports the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) including Windows, Linux and UNIX. With the use of Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) plug-ins, SIRIUS can use any ODBC compliant database such as MS-SQL, Oracle and DB2.

SIRIUS Modules
SIRIUS modules provide specific functionality of Fault Management, Maintenance Management, Facility Reservation etc. These functional modules are provided as add-ons to the SIRIUS framework.
