Mr Tan was appointed Non-Executive Director
representing Mitsubishi Electric Corporation on
22 February 2011.
He joined Mitsubishi Electric Asia Pte Ltd (“MEAP”)
in 1982 and is presently a Director performing
executive functions. Additionally, he is Head of Factory
Automation and Industrial Division.
Mr Tan has more than three decades of technical and
engineering experience and expertise. Prior to joining
MEAP, he was a Service Manager with Kian Gwan
Engineering Pte Ltd, an airconditioning contractor,
where he was responsible for running of the service
department, commissioning of chiller system for
new installation, maintenance and service of existing
airconditioning installations.
Mr Tan holds a diploma in marine engineering from
Singapore Polytechnic.
