Mr Pang was appointed an Independent Non-Executive Director of CNA Group on 13 May 2011.
He is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CPG Corporation which engages in design consultancy, project and facilities management services. He also took up the post as President Asia Region in Downer EDI in September 2008.
Mr Pang began his working career with Public Works Department (PWD) in 1979 as an Electrical Engineer. When PWD was corporatised in April 1999, he was responsible for setting up the Business Development (BD) Unit for the newly corporatized PWD Corporation. During this period, he was the Deputy CEO (in CPG consultants) and Executive Vice President (BD) and led his BD team to expand into China, India, Middle East and the Asean market.
Currently, Mr Pang holds supervisory directorship with China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group Co. Ltd. He has also been very involved in technical advisory committee works of several local polytechnics and the Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research. He was also awarded the Standards Council Distinguished Award.
Mr Pang was awarded the Colombo Plan Scholarship and trained as an Electrical Engineer from University of Canterbury, New Zealand. Mr Pang completed the Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from National University of Singapore, Stanford-National University of Singapore Executive Programme and INSEAD’s Advanced Management Programme. |
